How we charge for our work
The Supreme Court of South Australia sets a baseline for the charges (costs) that lawyers in South Australia can charge for their work. Most law firms charge at a higher percentage of that baseline.
For your reference please find the current version of the Higher Courts Cost Scale that now applies to legal work in South Australia. It is updated from time to time.
At Krypton Legal we believe that the cost of obtaining legal advice shouldn’t prevent people from seeking assistance.
For this reason our costs are reflective of that and as such we charge the baseline provided by the Supreme Court (as updated from time to time).
For matters that require obtaining medical/expert reports it may be necessary for you to fund the cost of those expenses (disbursements) if the insurer or other third-party are not able to meet those costs up front.
We offer a range of options with respect to utilising our services including:

No two matters and no two clients are the same and because of this we will do our best to accommodate your personal circumstances and financial position.
In addition to the above we offer a flat 25% discount (off the total cost of our services) for people in receipt of the aged pension.
